Credit Repair Scams
Beware of several so called “credit repair companies” that charge ridiculous fees from $200.00 to as much as $1,000 and promise to erase a bad credit history. If you’re looking for a way out of your credit problems, please don’t believe promises like these:
“Erase bad credit – 100% guaranteed”
“Remove bankruptcies and liens from your credit file”
In most cases, these companies do very little in improving your credit. Aside from that, you can do anything that a credit repair company can do for you! (more…)
